University of Karachi Postgraduate Admissions Open 2024

The University of Karachi UOK is pleased to announce that UOK Admissions 2024 are now open for various postgraduate programs. These include MPhil, ME, MS, LLM, PhD, MS Surgery, and MD Medicine, providing a diverse range of advanced study opportunities for aspiring scholars.

Recognized as a world-class institution of higher education and research, UOK boasts 56 teaching departments and 20 research centers/institutes, catering to around 50,000 students. The UOK Postgraduate Admissions Open 2024 offer candidates a chance to pursue their academic and research ambitions in a vibrant, intellectually stimulating environment.

Prospective students can apply for postgraduate degrees across several faculties:

Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences: Including programs in Arabic, Criminology, Economics, English Literature, and more.

Faculty of Science: Offering courses in fields like Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and others.

Faculty of Engineering: Featuring Chemical Engineering.

Faculty of Law: Offering LLM.

Faculty of Medicine: Including MS Surgery and MD Medicine.

Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences: With programs in Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, and more.

Faculty of Management & Administrative Sciences: Covering Public Administration, Business Administration, and Commerce.

Faculty of Education: Offering Education, Teacher Education, and Special Education.

In addition, several research institutes at UOK offer MPhil and PhD programs, such as the Dr. A.Q. Khan Institute of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering and the HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry.

Eligibility criteria vary by program, requiring candidates to have relevant qualifications from HEC-recognized institutions. For detailed eligibility requirements, please refer to the UOK prospectus.

Interested candidates should UOK Apply Now by downloading the Postgraduate Admission Prospectus 2024, Entrance Test Form ETF, and Fee Voucher from the UOK website between June 24 and July 05, 2024. Completed forms, along with the paid fee voucher, must be submitted to the respective departments by July 05, 2024.

The Karachi University Entrance Test 2024 is mandatory for all applicants and will be held on July 28, 2024. Successful candidates will be announced on August 04, 2024.
