School on Wheels to Educate Students in Rural Areas

The government has launched an initiative called ‘School on Wheels’ to educate students in rural areas. This project is aimed at promoting literacy and will be initially implemented in Islamabad. The launching ceremony was held to kick start this project and to provide education to children in far-off areas. The "School on Wheels" project will soon be expanded to all four provinces, including Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK. The project will involve the use of eight mobile schools, which will travel from village to village, providing education to children in Islamabad and surrounding areas.
During the launch ceremony, the Prime Minister met with teachers and students and reviewed the design of the mobile schools. This initiative is expected to contribute to the promotion of education in remote areas and help achieve the countrys maximum target of literacy.
