Reopening of Schools from 15 September

The federal government has made the clear announcement of the reopening of the schools all over the country from 15 September. The inter-provincial meeting of the provincial education ministers was conducted under chair of the federal education minister and all of the provincial education ministers attended this meeting. During this meeting, it was mutually decided that the schools and colleges will be reopened from 15 September. Reopening of Schools from 15 September.
The ministers of education, secretaries of education and the Higher Education Departments and others attended the online conference and the main aim of the conference was to consult this issue with the provinces on the reopening of the schools and colleges during this current situation of coronavirus pandemic all over the country. The schools will be opened if the situation is improved in the country and the conference will consider all issues relating to reopening of the educational institutes all over the country. It is important to mention that School Education Department Punjab completed the making of the SOPs for the reopening of the schools.
Under the provision of this SOP, the assembly will not be held in the schools in the morning times and the schools will give education to the students in three subjects including Sciences, Mathematics and English. The schools will give the home work in remaining subjects to the students and 20 students will sit in a classroom and only two students will be allowed to sit on a bench having capacity of three students. If there are more children, then the morning and evening shifts will be started. The government also said that the government will not reopen the schools and colleges as long as the students and teachers are at risk and it is necessary for the government to protect the students and teachers from this epidemic.
