Quran Teaching with Translation to University Students

The National Assembly of Pakistan, the lower house of the parliament, has passed the resolution for the university students that they will read the Holy Quran with translation. The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan presented this resolution in the National Assembly session, which was chaired by the speaker National Assembly. The resolution stated that Holy Quran should be taught with translation at public and private universities across the country. When the students will read the Holy Quran with translation, they will learn the new avenues of knowledge. The government of the Punjab introduced this new Quran Course for the students of universities and now the students of the public and private universities can learn Urdu translation of the Holy Quran.

Before this, the Governor of the Punjab issued the notification for declaring the teaching of the Holy Quran with translation mandatory for the students and no students will be awarded with the bachelor or master degree without passing this course.
