Punjab Declares Vacations & Exams Schedule for Schools

The government of the Punjab announced that the educational institutes in public and private sector will follow their schedule of the winter and summer vacations and the exams schedule for the schools. According to the decision that Punjab Declares Vacations & Exams Schedule for Schools, the summer vacation will be announced from 01 June 2022 to 31 July 2022 in all public and private schools and colleges. The new academic year 2022-23 will be started from 01 August 2022 and the annual exams will be conducted during the month of May. Sindh Education and Literacy Department, Steering Committee also announced the same schedule of the vacations and exams.

The annual exams of the class 4 to 8 will be administered from 02 May and the exams papers will be constituted 40% multiple choice questions and 60% subjective questions this time. The educational boards will conduct matric class annual exams from 17 May and the intermediate class annual exams from 15 June and the boards will announce their results within two months after finishing of the exams. The schools will be closed for the winter vacation from 22 December to 31 December 2022.
