PEC Trainee Engineers Program 2000 Internships 2022

Pakistan Engineering Council has developed the scheme to provide the internship program to the young and qualified engineers, who have completed their engineering in 2020 and 2021. The candidates, who have completed their engineering degree and now they are looking for the engineering job in the public or private sector. The young and qualified engineers can show their hands-on exposure, working knowledge, skill enhancement and professional competence to complete the latest techniques and technologies.


PEC is offering to fresh graduates, who have completed their degree within last 2 years and they did not get any job in public or private sectors or training / internship program under government program l scheme, or they are not full time students of any public or private institutes, they are advised to forward their application forms to avail their internship.

PEC On-Job Training Program Eligibility Criteria:

• Pakistani nationality holder


• Graduates, who have completed their degree during last 2 years


• Candidates registered with PEC


• 50% marks or CGPA 2.5


• Preference to female candidates


• 2% quota or disabled persons


• 5% quota for minorities


• Selected Trainee engineer will get stipend of Rs.30,000/-


• Training period of trainee engineers will be 6 months without any extension

• The candidates can submit their application forms online on ‘On-Job Training’ portal of PEC.

• The candidates can submit the data including discipline, location, domicile and area of interest with CV to carry out registration.


• PEC will carry out segregation of data in shape of discipline, location, domicile and area of interest for the employers.


• The employers can have access to pool of the candidates as per their requirements, industry, technical organization, HEIs, R&D, Marketing and Services.


• Employers can select applicants through profile / CV review and interview.


• Employers will share list of selected candidates with PEC so that PEC will issue formal notification.


• The candidates will be informed after approval of the PEC.


• PEC will release the salary to concerned employers for their selected trainee engineers.


• Employers will pay the salary of trainee engineer and PEC will acknowledge the payment of salary.


• After completion of 6 months duration, the employer will give feedback report on the format of PEC.


• PEC will consult with the relevant employers for issue of the experience certificate to Trainee engineer on the successful completion of the internship.
