JSMU Admissions 2025 PhD Programs

Jinnah Sindh Medical University JSMU, through its Institute of Health and Business Management IHBM, is pleased to announce Ph.D. admissions for the 2025 academic session. This program is approved and accredited by the Higher Education Commission HEC and is designed to prepare scholars for impactful research and leadership roles in academia and industry.

PhD Programs

 Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualification: 18 years of education MBA / MS / MPhil in Business Studies from an HEC-recognized institution.

Minimum CGPA:

3.0/4.0 in semester system, or

60% in annual system.

If CGPA is between 2.6 and 2.99:

Must complete 9–12 credit hours CH of Level 7 courses in a zero semester and secure a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.

Admission committee must be satisfied with the applicant’s subject knowledge.

 Entry Test Options
JSMU Ph.D. Admission Test Minimum score: 60%
OR

Valid GAT Subject / GRE / HAT with a minimum 60% score HEC-recognized

Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.

Entry Test Guidelines
Arrive at the test venue at least 1 hour before the test.

Bring:

Original CNIC/NICOP/POC or Passport

Printed Admit Card

Test will focus on subject-specific knowledge.

No TA/DA will be provided.

No accommodation will be provided.
