IIUI Announces Closure on 9th May 2025

International Islamic University, Islamabad IIUI has issued a critical IIUI Notification 2025 regarding its operations. In response to the District Magistrate, Islamabad Capital Territorys directive Notification No.120-HCG/2025 dated 08-05-2025, the university and its constituent units will remain closed on May 09, 2025 Friday due to the prevailing security situation.

This decision, endorsed by the President, IIUI, aims to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff. The closure affects all campuses within the Islamabad Capital Territory, reflecting a proactive measure to address current challenges.

Closure Date: May 09, 2025 Friday.

Reason: Ongoing security concerns.

Authority: Approved by the President, IIUI, as per the District Magistrates order.

The Directorate of Human Resource Management & Development Office of Human Resource Management communicated this update on May 08, 2025, under reference No.HRM&D/2025-IIUI-7509. All Vice-Presidents, Directors General, Executive Directors, Deans, Directors, Chairpersons, Incharges, Chief Librarian, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Security Officer, Principal ICT&S, Provosts, Students’ Advisors Male & Female, and relevant departments have been informed. The Incharge Information Systems will circulate this electronically, while the Incharge P&PR will display it on the IIUI Website.
