Due to prevailing situation of Coronavirus pandemic across the country, the schools, colleges and universities were remained closed for about 6 months. Although the online classes were also conducted but it becomes difficult for the students to cover their syllabus in the remaining period because the inter class syllabus is lengthy. Higher Education Department of Punjab Government has made the decision to shorten the inter class syllabus and for this purpose, the HED has set up the committee in order to prepare the recommendations to shorten FA/FSc syllabus. The HED has already announced HED matric smart syllabus 2020 and now the instructions are issued to the Textbook boards to work on the shortening of the syllabus. The HED inter class syllabus 2020 in lengthy and the students have to prepare over 12 chapters for chemistry and math in part 1 and the syllabus of other subjects like biology and English are also lengthy. Now the committee, headed by MD Textbook Board will determine the syllabus and they will submit their recommendation to the government of the Punjab.
