Islamabad, Higher Education Commission is going to promote higher education in Pakistan by allowing the foreign universities to set their own campuses or by giving franchises to the local universities or institutes. HEC has accorded the approval of Foreign Collaboration Policy (Transnational Education Policy) for operations of the foreign universities in Pakistan. The local universities or institutes, which are approved by HEC, are shown on the official website of HEC and they can have their foreign degree programs by getting approval of HEC and start giving education to the students in the particulars programs. If the universities or institutes start the programs or degree, for which they do not get approval by HEC, they will be considered fake or illegal. The candidates and institutes can note that HEC Foreign Degree Programs in Pakistan through Campus or Franchise Mode. The students and the local and foreign universities can get necessary information of the HEC instruction before getting admission in any degree or starting new degree or programs through the local universities or institutes or by setting up their own campuses.
