Kiran Khatri, is a female candidate of Mithi in the Tharparkar district of Sindh, who has achieved a remarkable milestone by passing the Central Superior Service CSS exam and joining the inland revenue service. Her accomplishment is significant as she becomes the first woman from Thar and the sole Hindu girl from Tharparkar to pass the exam. Originally aspiring to join the police force, Kiran was selected for the inland revenue sector. Her training is scheduled to commence in October, and she eagerly anticipates the substantial responsibilities that will accompany her new role. Kiran completed her MBBS from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences in Jamshoro in 2020 and pursued her house job at Civil Hospital, Hyderabad in 2021. She also worked as a lecturer at Indus Medical College, Tando Mohammad Khan.

During her house job, Kiran witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by doctors, which motivated her to prepare for the CSS exam. Diligently studying from her home in Mithi, she received support from her father, who serves as a deputy director in the education department, as well as online classes available on YouTube.
