Federal Govt Announces Reopening of University After 15 July

The Federal Education Minister has issued the statement regarding the reopening of the universities after 15 July by observing the standing operating procedures. The minister said that it is not possible for the federal government to keep the universities closed further. Due to spreading of the Coronavirus threat in the country, the universities were closed down and the academic activities were suspended. Now the government has decided to resume the educational activities in the universities by reopening them. Federal Govt Announces Reopening of University After 15 July.

The federal education minister issued the directions to HEC Chairman to consult with the universities about the reopening of the universities and prepare the comprehensive policy. HEC Chairman has called an online meeting with all vice chancellors of the universities to seek their suggestions on reopening of universities and making of the SOPs. It is also said that the universities will be reopened after 15 July to test the effectiveness of the SOPs but the proper classes will be started after Eid.
