Admissions open for undergraduates programs at The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan for the 2025 Global Undergraduate Semester Exchange Program for Pakistani students.This prestigious program is designed to foster mutual understanding between the people of the United States and Pakistan. It provides a unique opportunity for full-time undergraduate students in Pakistan to enrich their academic experience through one semester of full-time, non-degree academic study in the United States.
Program Overview:
The Global Undergraduate Semester Exchange Program offers Pakistani students the chance to experience the U.S. educational system, culture, and social life. Participants will attend a U.S. university for one semester, taking courses that will not only enhance their academic knowledge but also broaden their understanding of global issues. Additionally, the program includes a community service component, encouraging students to engage with American communities and learn about social responsibility principles in the United States.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the 2025 Global Undergraduate Semester Exchange Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a Pakistani citizen between the ages of 18 and 24 by the application deadline.
Be currently enrolled in a college or university in Pakistan and committed to returning to their home university upon completing the program.
Be in their 14th year of formal education typically equivalent to the second year of a bachelors degree.
Submit their most recent, current, and previous academic transcripts with the application.
Grant Benefits:
The program provides comprehensive support to selected students, ensuring they have a fulfilling and stress-free experience in the United States. The grant benefits include:
Round-trip airfare between Pakistan and the United States.
Tuition and fees for the semester at the host institution.
Housing and meals for the duration of the program.
A limited allowance for purchasing books.
Accident and sickness coverage for the entire stay.
A monthly maintenance allowance to cover daily expenses.
Ineligibility:
Certain individuals are ineligible for the program. This includes dual U.S./Pakistani nationals or U.S. permanent residents, employees of the Fulbright organization, the U.S. Department of State, or USAID, as well as their immediate family members spouses, siblings, children, dependents, and parents. Additionally, students who have previously visited the United States on a J-visa or have received a U.S. government-funded grant are not eligible to apply.

Application Process:

Selected candidates will also need to provide reference letters and take the Duolingo English Test.
