CUST Summer 2025 Internship Rules for BSCS Students

Capital University of Science and Technology CUST has officially released the internship registration guidelines for BS Computer Science BSCS students for Summer 2025. These detailed instructions are aimed at ensuring that students engage in meaningful, IT-related internships that align with academic and industry standards.
According to the official notification, all BSCS students must register under CUST course CS4100: Internship through the university portal as soon as the Summer 2025 internship registration opens. Only those who have completed at least 90 credit hours are eligible to apply. The internship duration is mandated to be between 6 to 8 weeks, with a minimum workload of 40 hours per week.
To maintain quality and relevance, remote or online internships will not be accepted. Students are required to find internships in recognized private, semi-government, or government organizations. These organizations must be registered with SECP and possess a valid NTN National Tax Number. CUST Internship Guidelines 2025 also stress that companies must provide proper documentation, including SECP registration numbers.
Internship tasks must strictly fall within IT-related domains such as web or desktop application development, mobile apps, cloud solutions, database programming, network communication, or machine learning. Tasks not allowed include digital marketing, SEO, CMS tools like WordPress, or using Microsoft Excel.
The CUST university will also conduct an orientation session on MS Teams for all registered students. For those enrolled in the CUST BSCS Summer Internship 2025, following these instructions is crucial for approval and academic credit.
