UoBS Kinship Scholarship Program 2024

The University of Baltistan, Skardu, is extending a helping hand to families with multiple children pursuing higher education at their esteemed institution through the Kinship Scholarship program for 2024. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on families with siblings enrolled as undergraduates at UoBS.

Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for this scholarship, the eldest sibling currently enrolled as an undergraduate at UoBS must have one or more siblings also pursuing their undergraduate studies at the university, all maintaining a commendable academic record with a minimum CGPA of 2.80.

Scholarship Breakdown: For families with two siblings, one will receive a 25% tuition fee waiver. In the case of three or more siblings, the third and subsequent siblings will benefit from a 50% tuition fee waiver. However, its essential to note that the scholarship is awarded to the senior siblings, and the most recently enrolled student will not be eligible.

Important Considerations: Priority will be given to applicants demonstrating financial need in cases of multiple applications from families with more than two siblings. Additionally, this scholarship applies exclusively to undergraduate programs and cannot be combined with other financial aids.

Application Process: Starting March 26, 2024, applications will be available until April 1, 2024. Applicants must fill out the Google Form, print it, and submit it along with required documents to Campus Administrators/SFAO.

Required Documentation: Enclosed with the hard copy of the application form should be documents such as proof of sibling relationship, parents CNICs, academic transcripts, proof of enrollment, and income certificates.
