The Livestock & Dairy Development Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine DVM Degree Course for the Academic Session 2024. There are a total of 14 reserved seats for candidates from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the following universities:
Agriculture University, Faisalabad - 2 seats
University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore - 2 seats
Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam - 6 seats
University of Poonch, Rawalakot, Azad Kashmir - 1 seat
Pir Mehr Ali Shah ARID Agriculture University, Rawalpindi - 2 seats
Agriculture University, Peshawar - 1 seat
These seats are specifically allocated for the employees son/daughter quota of L&DD Extension, Department.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for admission to the DVM Degree Course, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in their Intermediate Pre-Medical Examination from a recognized board BISE.
Alternatively, application forms can be obtained from the office of the Director General Extension, L&DD, Peshawar, or the office of the concerned District Director Livestock.
Ensure that the application form is complete and submitted on time, as incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
Candidates who meet the initial criteria will be required to produce original documents and certificates at the time of the interview.
Selection of candidates will be made purely on merit in accordance with the Departments policy. Its important to note that selected candidates will not receive any scholarships from the Department of Livestock and Dairy Development Extension in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar.
Additionally, candidates are responsible for covering all expenses related to their journey to the interview venue from their own pockets.
