Board Exams Cancel Sindh Students Gets Marks Basing Previous Result.
The boards gave the opinion that they have to adopt the social distancing in exams centers and only 500 to 1000 students will be allowed to appear in the matric and inter classes annual exams in each exams center. In this situation, the education boards have to double the number of exams centers, which is very difficult task. It was also decided to shorten duration of exams by taking only MCQs within one hour or one and half hour. If the exams are not possible, then the 10th and 12th classes students will be awarded the average marks on the basis of their result in previous classes of 9th and 11th respectively with the award of 5% grace marks. The decision of IBCC is sent to Ministry of Education for approval, which is expected to be announced during the meeting of Steering Committee of Education Department next month.
