Sindh Students Fail In All Subjects May Be Promoted

Karachi, Sindh Education Minister said that all of the students will be promoted to the next classes, whether they are failed in all subjects. The Sindh government promoted the students from class 1 to class 12 and the students will start their study in the next promoted classes. The government has already announced not to hold the exams of any class this year due to threat of spreading of the coronavirus pandemic in the country and the government wants to save their lives and protect them from being caught by this menace. The government stopped the academic activities in the province and any school can start their schools by providing the education online. The schools will be remained closed from 01 June but the opening date is not announced yet. Their government decided to promote the students from class 1 to class 8 without their exams but the subcommittee of the steering committee developed the procedure as to how the students of matric part 1 and 2 and Intermediate class part 1 and 2 will be promoted to the next classes. The education minister said that the students of SSC part 1 and HSSC part 1 will be promoted without giving any marks this year and when they appear in the next SSC Part 2 and HSSC part 2 annual exams and their obtaining marks will be considered as their marks in the 9th and 11th classes. The students will also be awarded with 3% additional marks so that their merits will be made in the higher colleges or universities at the time of getting admission in the higher classes next year. The private students will also be treated with the same rules and regulations. The students, who want to improve their result or they want to appear in the additional subjects, they will appear in the exams next year.
