Revised Scheme of Study for Matric Class 2024 by PCTB

Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board PCTB have announced revisions to the scheme of study for matriculation part 1 and 2. These updates will be implemented across all government, private educational institutions, and Deeni Madaris. Changes in Curriculum:

Effective from the academic session 2024-25, significant changes have been introduced. Islamiat Compulsory will now be taught in 9th grade, carrying 100 marks. Simultaneously, Pakistan Studies will no longer be a part of the curriculum for matric part 1 students.

Transition of Subjects:

Starting from the academic year 2024-25, Pakistan Studies will be introduced in the 10th grade curriculum. Conversely, the teaching of Islamiat Compulsory will cease at the matric part 2 level. These adjustments reflect PCTBs commitment to refining the educational framework for matriculation students in Punjab.
