Punjab Welcomes Afghan Refugees for MBBS

In a significant step towards expanding educational opportunities, the Punjab province has extended a warm welcome to Afghan refugees seeking admission to MBBS programs in the year 2023. This endeavor is designed to support the educational aspirations of Afghan students while bolstering their prospects for the future.
These admissions are exclusively reserved for the MBBS program and are open to all Afghan refugee students who possess a valid Proof of Registration POR card issued within the Punjab province. To qualify, applicants must have achieved a minimum of 60% marks in their FSc Pre-Medical examination, covering subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Moreover, candidates who score at least 60% marks in the entrance test will also be considered eligible for admission.
The designated institution, situated at 203-D Street-R, Upper Mall Scheme in Lahore, offers a promising academic environment conducive to pursuing medical education. This initiative not only affords Afghan refugees the opportunity to pursue higher education but also contributes to the healthcare sector by nurturing skilled medical professionals.
