PSED Announces New Schedule Dec Exams

Punjab School Education Department has made the announcement for the restoration of the December exams of all classes in the schools, colleges and universities, which was delayed because of the spreading of the coronavirus second wave across the country. In the schools and colleges, the December exams will be started from February 01 because of the closing of schools during this pandemic. The meeting of PSED decided to hold the objective type papers during the first week of February and the annual exams will be held at the end of April and in this regard, the online training is given to the teachers to hold the exams.

At the time of promotion of the students to the next classes, 50% marks in homework and 50% exams marks will be considered as the policy was discussed in this meeting. The educational institutes are closed at this time and it will continue till 10 January. The IPEMC will be held on 04 January and they have ruled out possibility of reopening of the educational institutes as the pandemic is spreading in the province.
