PSED Academic Calendar for year 2020-21

Punjab School Education Department has issued the academic year for the year 2020-21. There are over 35 thousands middle and secondary schools all over the country and this academic calendar is provided to all schools. The government has already reduced the syllabus of all classes and it is devised by provincial government because of the corona perspective and half of the year has been passed and it is difficult for the students to read whole syllabus in remaining half year. SED has issued the directions to all schools so that they can follow the academic calendar, which is prepared for the students of session 2020-21 and the students will complete their next academic year on time. The schools have been provided with the smart syllabus in Mathematics, English and Science.

When the coronavirus cases were increased in schools, SED has prepared the SOPs and they will follow it and the Education Minister of Punjab monitors the implementation of COVID-19 safety protocols and the SED will provide the compliance of the guidelines. The students will have to use the face masks and keep social distancing and the schools will have to display the banners of ‘No Mask, No Entry’ outside the school so that they can increase the awareness on importance of mask during their school time.
