PMDC Raises Attendance and Passing Marks for Medical Student

Medical and dental colleges, both public and private, have introduced stricter academic policies, mandating a minimum attendance of 90% and increasing the passing threshold to 70%. These revised standards apply to students enrolled in MBBS and BDS programs across the country. Implementation of PMDC’s Updated Policies

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council PMDC has officially put these new regulations into effect, aiming to enhance the academic rigor of medical education. Previously, students were required to maintain a minimum of 74% attendance, but this has now been increased to 90%. Similarly, the passing percentage has been raised from 50% to 70%.
