Pak Srilanka Uni Faculty Exchange Program 2024

Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has initiated a faculty exchange program, encouraging collaboration between academic professionals from Pakistan and Sri Lanka. This program serves as a platform for faculty members to establish and enhance professional linkages between universities in both countries. Participants will contribute to their respective faculties through engagement in teaching, international curricula, conferences, research seminars, and collaborative academic and research activities during a two-week exchange.
Program Details and Support:
Faculty members participating in the exchange program will be hosted by the partner university, which will provide boarding and lodging. The Higher Education Commission HEC Islamabad will facilitate air travel with economy class return airfare and offer a daily allowance to the visiting faculty. Interested candidates are invited to apply for the exchange program by submitting their application forms before the closing date on December 30, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the program, candidates must be nationals of either Pakistan or Sri Lanka. They should be full-time faculty members of recognized public or private universities or academic institutions in Pakistan or Sri Lanka. Eligible candidates must possess an invitation letter from the host university or academic institution, as well as a No Objection Certificate NOC from their parent university or institution. The selection of disciplines or subjects will be based on the national needs of both countries, and applicants are expected to have a prior research record and relevant experience.
Application Process:
Interested applicants can apply online by completing the prescribed application form. Along with the application form, faculty members must attach the following documents in PDF format and submit them to the HEC through its website:
Invitation letter from the host university or academic institution.
No Objection Certificate NOC from their parent university or institution.
Proposal or planned activities for the visit.
This initiative aims to foster academic cooperation, exchange knowledge, and strengthen the bonds between the higher education sectors of Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
