NICH Karachi Admission 2023

The National Institute of Child Health, College of Nursing in Karachi, Sindh, has issued an admission notice for the year 2023. They are inviting applications for two programs: B.S. Nursing Generic Degree Program and One Year In-House Nurse Aid Course. Here are the details of the eligibility criteria for both programs:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR B.S. NURSING GENERIC DEGREE PROGRAM:

Qualification: Fresh F.Sc. Pre-Medical with at least 50% marks cumulatively and in Science subjects, which include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, from a recognized examination board.

Gender: For female candidates only.

Domicile: Sindh.

Age limit: Between 18 to 30 years.

Duration of Training: Four years, followed by a one-year internship.

Probationary period: Two months.

Marital status: Married or unmarried preferable.

Stipend: Stipend will be paid to selected students as per the Government policy.

Verification: Domicile Certificate, PRC Permanent Residential Certificate, F.Sc. Original Certificates, and Mark Sheets will be verified from the issuing authorities. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Entrance Admission test conducted by the National Testing Service NTS, interview, and other related criteria.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ONE YEAR IN-HOUSE NURSE AID COURSE:

Qualification: Matriculation Matric with Science with at least 45% marks.

Gender: For female candidates only.

Domicile: Sindh.

Age limit: Between 18 to 30 years.

Duration of Training: One year.

Probationary period: Three months.

Marital status: Married or unmarried preferable.

Verification: Certificate, PRC Permanent Residential Certificate, Matric Original Certificates, and Mark Sheets will be verified from the issuing authorities. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Internal Entrance Admission test.

Application Process:

Application forms can be obtained from the Office Superintendent, College of Nursing 1st Floor, NICH, Karachi, for a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2500/-. The issuing dates for the application forms are from 20th September 2023 to 18th October 2023, between 09:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The last date for the submission of application forms is 21st October 2023.

Incomplete application forms or those submitted after the last date will not be entertained.

Preference should be given to candidates from Sindh.

No accommodations will be provided by the institute during training.

Original documents will be verified after provisional selection.

The top merit candidate qualified in the theory test will have to appear for an interview.

Original documents should be shown at the time of submission of the application form and during the test/interview.
