MORA Scholarships for Minority Students 2024-25

Ministry of Religious Affairs MORA invites applications from students belonging to minority communities for scholarships available for different levels of education, including primary, undergraduate, and master’s programs. These scholarships are open for the financial year 2024-25. Applications must be submitted within 30 days of the scholarship announcement, with the final deadline being November 8, 2024. Students can obtain the application form for the MORA Minority Scholarship either from the Ministry of Religious Affairs website or from the form attached below. Minority students whose parents have a monthly income of less than PKR 74,000 are eligible to apply.
Criteria for Eligibility for MORA Minority Scholarship 2024-25
To qualify for the MORA Minority Scholarship, the following conditions must be met:
Applicants must be regular students at government or public sector educational institutions schools, colleges, or universities with at least 50% marks in their previous exams.
The scholarship is available for students from minority backgrounds who are financially disadvantaged, orphans, or those with disabilities. A satisfactory academic record is also essential.
Steps to Apply for the MORA Minority Scholarship 2024-25
To apply for the scholarship, students are required to:
Complete and submit the application online, along with the last two attested marks sheets and the original income certificate of their parents or guardians.
The student’s details must be certified by the head of their educational institution. Additionally, an attested copy of the progress report or marks sheet from the latest annual examination should be attached. Marks sheets that are freshly prepared or written on plain paper will not be accepted.
The head of the institution must ensure the form is fully completed, all necessary documents are attached, and then send a list of applicants to the Ministry with a covering letter signed by them. Only applications received through the educational institutions will be considered.
Important Conditions and Exclusions
Students who are already receiving any kind of financial aid, stipends, or scholarships from other sources are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
The CNIC number or NADRA B-form of the student for those under 18 years old must be written on the application form and copies must be attached.
Incomplete forms will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Students enrolled in private institutions are not eligible for this scholarship.
Parents or guardians should include a valid contact number and email address to address any queries that may arise during the process.
Submission Deadline and Other Key Information
The complete application and all supporting documents must be submitted within 30 days of the advertisements publication. Applications received before the announcement or after the deadline will not be considered. The application form may also be photocopied from the newspaper advertisement.
