In a bid to combat cheating during examinations, the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi BIEK has introduced innovative measures. Among these, security barcodes have been integrated into exam papers, serving as a deterrent against dishonest practices. Heatwave Preparedness:

Recognizing the challenges posed by severe heatwaves, the BIEK has proactively arranged for medical teams to be stationed during exams. This proactive step ensures swift assistance for any student displaying symptoms of heatstroke, prioritizing their well-being amidst challenging weather conditions.

Student Well-being Enhancements:

Beginning May 28, as intermediate exams commence, students will benefit from upgraded facilities aimed at safeguarding their health. For the first time, complimentary first aid boxes containing essential medications to alleviate heat-related discomforts will be available. These provisions include pain relievers, anti-allergy medications, glucose, vitamin C, and mineral water.

Collaborative Emergency Support:

To bolster student safety, ambulances will be strategically stationed outside examination centers, supported by private institutions. This collaborative effort ensures prompt medical attention in case of any unforeseen emergencies during exam sessions.

Chairmans Assurance of Student Care:

Chairman of BIEK, reiterated the boards commitment to student welfare during exams. Designating only colleges with adequate facilities as examination centers underscores the boards dedication to providing optimal conditions for student assessments.

Introducing Security Protocols and Supervisory Measures:

In addition to security barcodes, each examination center will be overseen by a superintendent officer from a single college, tasked with managing all logistical arrangements. These stringent measures aim to uphold the integrity of examinations and deter any attempts at cheating.

Further enhancing student convenience, the BIEK has revamped its official website, Facebook, and Instagram accounts. These platforms now offer seamless access to exam-related information, mark sheets, certificates, and results, facilitating better communication with students and streamlining the exam process.
