Addressing Fee and Scheduling Concerns
The committee discussed public dissatisfaction with the MDCAT process and unresolved issues regarding examination fees. The Islamabad High Court IHC is yet to decide whether students or the PM&DC should bear these costs. Promoting Fair Seat Allocation and Merit-Based Admissions
The limited availability of seats for students with ICT domicile was another key issue. The committee called on the Punjab government to ensure balanced seat distribution and stressed that admissions should be based solely on merit and competency. By eliminating regional biases, the committee seeks to foster equal opportunities for all aspirants.
