Additionally, offices are now mandated to adopt a Work From Home WFH policy for two days every week. In response to the failure to control smog, the LHC has ordered the replacement of the Director General DG Environment. The court has also directed the transfer of Deputy Commissioners in Jhang, Hafiz Abad, Khanewal, Nankana Sahib, Bahawalnagar, and Sheikhupura.
Chief Secretary Punjab has been instructed to issue immediate notifications for these transfers.
