KP Announces Spring and Eid Holidays for Schools

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP government has officially announced spring vacations for all public and private schools under the Elementary & Secondary Education Department. These holidays will commence on April 1 and will last until April 8, 2025, covering the entire province. School Staff to Resume Work After Eid

According to the notification, school staff, including principals, head teachers, and clerical employees, must return to duty from April 3 to April 8 following the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. This measure is intended to ensure the smooth distribution of free textbooks and facilitate the enrollment of new students as part of the ongoing admission campaign.

Strict Compliance Required

The provincial government has directed all relevant authorities to implement these orders strictly. The notification has been forwarded to education officials, deputy commissioners, and the Chief Minister’s office to ensure a seamless transition into the new academic term.

Extended Holidays in Other Provinces

This decision aligns with similar measures in Punjab, where the School Education Department has extended Eid holidays for students. The initiative aims to provide students and teachers with a well-earned break while maintaining essential administrative preparations.
