JSMU Released SPSYWG Scholarship Notification 2024
Jinnah Sindh Medical University JSMU has announced the Scotland Pakistan Scholarship for Young Women and Girls SPSYWG 2024-25, an initiative funded by the Scottish Government. This scholarship aims to empower Pakistani women through higher education and is available for the academic year 2024-25. It supports women pursuing a four-year bachelor’s degree at any Higher Education Commission HEC-recognized university in Pakistan.
The JSMU Scholarship Notice 2024 highlights that the scholarship covers tuition fees, university hostel costs if applicable, and travel expenses for students living in hostels, allowing for two trips home per year. This comprehensive support is aimed at encouraging more women to pursue degrees in key fields such as Education, Sustainable Energy, Food Security and Agriculture, and Health Sciences.
Applications for the SPSYWG 2024-25 are currently open and must be submitted online via the British Council’s official website by 30th September 2024. Late submissions will not be considered. The scholarship encourages applications from minorities and persons with disabilities, ensuring inclusivity in education.
