In an effort to support children from underprivileged backgrounds, Islamabads government schools have eliminated the need for Form-B for admissions. This significant policy change is expected to enhance enrollment, particularly benefiting those who lack proper documentation and have been disproportionately affected by this requirement. The students and their parents will note the complete updates of Islamabad Schools Eliminate Form-B Requirement for Admissions.

Overcoming Enrollment Challenges

Pakistan faces a major challenge with around 26 million children out of school, despite various government initiatives such as free meals and textbooks aimed at increasing enrollment. Education Secretary Mohyuddin Wani announced the removal of the Form-B requirement, stating that this change will ensure that all children in Islamabad, irrespective of their documentation, can now gain admission to government schools.

Promoting Educational Accessibility

Wani emphasized that the Form-B prerequisite had inadvertently restricted many underprivileged and undocumented children from accessing education. The new policy aims to create a more inclusive educational environment by removing this obstacle, ensuring equal educational opportunities for all children in the capital.

Addressing Overcrowding in Schools

To tackle the issue of overcrowded classrooms, the Ministry of Education plans to implement evening shifts in 51 schools across Islamabad in the upcoming academic session. This strategy is designed to effectively manage the anticipated increase in student enrollment, as some primary classes currently have more than 50 students, with some reaching nearly 100.

Enhancing Education Infrastructure

These measures highlight the governments dedication to improving education accessibility and infrastructure. By eliminating documentation barriers and expanding school capacity, the government aims to create a more equitable and efficient educational system in Islamabad, catering to the needs of all children and fostering a better learning environment.
