The Governor of Punjab has made the announcement for the established of the new university of the international reputation near Lahore and this university will be of the degree awarding status. The Government of Punjab is going to take necessary steps for the establishment of this new university. The governor signed the bill for the establishment of the Baba Guru Nanak University at Nankana Sahib and on this occasion he said that the government is going to decide for the setting up of the international university near Lahore with degree awarding status and it is hoped that this university will be the center of excellence in various fields.
