International Childrens Drawing Contest 2024

The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus, in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training Islamabad, is organizing an open childrens drawing contest titled Children All Over Planet are Friends for students from both government and private schools across Pakistan. This contest aims to foster international cultural relations, nurture artistic creativity among students, identify and support talented youth, and facilitate the exchange of thoughts and talents, thus enhancing the professional skills of teachers. Furthermore, such competitions will play a role in uniting diverse national cultures, preserving and developing them for the benefit of future generations. Key Aspects of the Contest

Hosted by the Ministry of Education, Republic of Belarus, this contest invites students worldwide, through their respective embassies, to participate in a drawing competition based on the designated theme. It encourages students to comprehend the purpose of the contest and express their interpretations through their drawings, thereby strengthening international cultural relations. Participation is open to students from all educational institutions across Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria

Students aged between 4 to 16 years are eligible to participate in the contest, with participants categorized into six age groups. The age groups are defined as follows: 4-5 years, 6-7 years, 8-9 years, 10-11 years, 12-13 years, and 14-16 years.

Submission Guidelines

Interested candidates should prepare their drawings and submit them via special courier services by the deadline of March 14, 2024, ensuring that the drawings are not folded. A jury will be responsible for evaluating the submitted drawings between March 15 and March 30, 2024.

Exhibition of Contest Entries

The organizing committee will host an exhibition of drawings created by participants of the IX International Open Children’s Drawing Contest Children All Over the Planet are Friends from April to August 2024 at the National Children and Youth Arts Center exhibition hall. Subsequently, a traveling exhibition featuring the best entries will be organized in various cities of the Republic of Belarus. The winners and prize recipients will be announced, and the committee will award diplomas. An electronic catalogue showcasing the winners and prize recipients among the five hundred participants will be published on the NCHTDM website.
