Infrastructure Deficiencies in Sindh Schools

Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah reported that 14,000 schools in the province lack drinking water facilities, and 38 primary schools in Karachi are without washrooms. During the Sindh Assembly session, Shah mentioned the ongoing challenge of maintaining school infrastructure, pointing out that solar panels installed in schools are often stolen soon after installation. Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon reiterated the government’s dedication to improving transportation in Karachi. He announced the introduction of the People’s Bus Service in Manghopir and outlined plans to extend bus services across all areas of Sindh. Memon also spoke about the launch of new routes and the expansion of routes for electric buses.
