HED Punjab Govt 10th & 12th Class Promotion Policy 2021

Higher Education Department, Government of the Punjab considered the prevailing situation of Coronavirus across the government, which has not only affected the lives of the people but also the education of the students. Due to lock down situation and closing of schools and colleges, the academic activities were interrupted many times and it hampered the continuity of education. The government has announced HED Punjab Govt 10th & 12th Class Promotion Policy 2021.

The students of intermediate class part 2 will be allowed to appear in the inter class part 2 annual exams and the papers will be held in the elective subjects only and the candidates are required to qualify in all these subjects. The marks obtained in the elective subjects will be considered in the compulsory subjects. The students of the 11th class will not be allowed to appear in their annual exams and their marks will be counted on the basis of their marks in the previous exams. The students of the SSC part 2 will attend their coming exams and they will have to pass the elective papers but their compulsory papers will not be done. The marks obtained in the elective subjects will be reflected in their compulsory papers of 10th class. On the other side, the students of 9th class will not appear in any exams as boards will not managed their matric part 1 annual exams. Their marks in the previous exams will be reflected in their annual exams result and they will be promoted to the next classes. The students will read the complete promotion policy and they will check and follow it for their promotion.
