HEC Puts Ban BS (Hons) Degree to Various Colleges

Higher Education Department Punjab surveyed total 29 colleges in the private sector, which offered BS (Hons) degree programs to the candidates out of which, only 2 colleges were found up to the marks and remaining 27 colleges were stopped to offer the BS Honors degrees to the students. Directorate of Public Instructions (DPI) is final authority to accord the approval of the provision of BS (Hons) degrees and the team ordered 27 colleges to remove the standard curriculum and make the complete and comprehensive plan in order to address the missing requirements of their infrastructure. The inspection teams praised and encouraged the two colleges, which are declared eligible for the BS Honors degrees as they meet the DPI criteria, which is settled for the BS (Hons) degree programs.
