HEC Denies News Regarding Undergraduate And AD Programs

The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad, has confirmed fake news about the four-year BS program and two-year associate degree program circulating on social media. The HEC convened a meeting of the Vice Chancellor's Committee on July 2, 2021. The commission confirmed that the news was fake.

As per the decision of the HEC meeting, both BS and AD programs will continue. HEC's notification regarding "Transition from BA / BSc Program to Associate Degree Programs: Outside MA / MSc Programs" will continue in letter and spirit of the policy set for July 11, 2019.

Universities that seek or adhere to a policy for undergraduate education policy and / or PhD programs are more likely to adhere to it.
