Fully Funded MBBS Scholarships in Cuba for Pakistani Student

The Government of Cuba, in collaboration with Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission HEC, is offering three MBBS scholarships for Pakistani students in 2025. This opportunity is available to students who have secured a minimum of 70% marks in FSc Pre-Medical or an equivalent qualification and at least 60% marks in Matriculation. Application Process & Deadline

Eligible students can submit their applications through the HEC online portal. The deadline for submission is March 28, 2025. Interested applicants must ensure they fulfill all eligibility requirements before applying.

While most costs are covered under this scholarship, students or their guardians must bear the expenses for:

Round-trip airfare to and from Cuba.

Health insurance and other medical expenses.

Halal food costs, if required.

Visa processing fees.

In addition, HEC will provide a one-time grant of Rs 300,000 to each selected student after their departure to Cuba. This amount will be deposited into the student’s Pakistani bank account.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this Scholarship 2025 Pakistan, applicants must meet the following criteria:

At least 70% marks in FSc Pre-Medical/A-Level Science Group.

A minimum of 60% marks in Matric/O-Level.

MDCAT qualification with at least 50% marks, as per PMDC regulations.

A valid USAT-M test score, obtained on or after March 28, 2024.

Pakistani or AJK nationality, aged 18-25 years at the time of application.

Result-awaiting students are not eligible.

Final selection will be based on the USAT-M test score.

Documents Required for Shortlisted Candidates

Applicants who are shortlisted will need to submit the following documents:

A signed copy of the HEC application form.

Matriculation/O-Level certificate IBCC attested with equivalence.

FSc/A-Level certificate IBCC attested with equivalence.

Birth certificate issued by NADRA.

Father/guardian’s CNIC copy.

Original police clearance certificate confirming no criminal record.

Copy of a valid passport with at least six months’ validity.

Medical certificate, including an HIV/AIDS test report, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs MoFA.
