Free MDCAT Prep Classes to Start in Punjab Govt Colleges

Government colleges in Punjab are set to launch free MDCAT Medical and Dental College Admission Test preparation classes starting June 2. The program is aimed at helping students prepare for medical college entry tests without bearing any financial burden. Students interested in joining the sessions must complete their registration beforehand, as the classes are scheduled to begin in the first week of June.

To ensure the smooth delivery of the program, each participating institution will receive financial support of Rs. 500,000. These funds will be used to provide learning materials and hire experienced instructors.

In the previous year, around 10,000 students benefited from the initiative, which was implemented in 90 government colleges. This year, the scope is being widened, with approximately 150 colleges expected to conduct the preparation courses.

Each college will be staffed with five skilled instructors dedicated to covering the MDCAT test syllabus and teaching effective exam strategies.

This initiative demonstrates the government’s ongoing efforts to make professional education, particularly in the medical field, more accessible for students from all economic backgrounds.
