Federal College of Education Islamabad 2024 B.Ed Admissions

The Federal College of Education one of Pakistans premier institutions for teacher education, is now welcoming applications for its 2024 academic session. Affiliated with the University of the Punjab, Lahore, FCE offers a range of programs designed to equip future educators with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of education.

Available Programs and Eligibility Criteria

FCE is offering admissions in the following programs:
B.S. Education V-VIII Semester: This 2-year program is open to candidates who have completed a 2-year BA/B.Sc/ADP/ADE or equivalent with at least 14 years of education. Applicants must have studied English as one of the core or elective subjects with a minimum of 200 marks.

B.S. Ed. Hons:This 4-year program is designed for students with an F.Sc. Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, or ICS background with at least a 2nd Division. The age limit for this program is 24 years.

B.Ed. Morning/Evening: Offered as a 1.5-year program, this course is available to candidates with 16 years of education M.A./M.Sc or B.A. Hons with 4 years/B.S. with 4 years and at least a 2nd Division. The maximum age for applicants is 28 years.

B.Ed. Hons Elementary: This 4-year program is suitable for those who have completed their FA/F.Sc. Pre-Medical/Pre-Engineering or ICS with at least a 2nd Division. The age limit for this program is 24 years.

Bachelor of Education Specialization: Specializations include Child Guidance and Counseling, Inclusive Education, Quality Assurance in Education, and STEM Education. This 4-year program is open to candidates with FA/F.Sc. Pre-Medical/Pre-Engineering or ICS with at least a 2nd Division, with an age limit of 22 years.

Application Process:
Prospective students can download the prospectus and application form from the official college website. Alternatively, application forms can be obtained directly from the college. A processing fee of Rs. 1000/- is required at the time of form submission. Applicants must bring all original documents for verification during the interview process.
