FDE Announces Eid Holidays Break for Islamabad Schools

Federal Directorate of Education has released the official holiday schedule for Eid and the spring break for all educational institutions under its jurisdiction. The students, teachers and the admin staff will get the fresh updates regarding Islamabad Schools & Colleges to Observe Eid Holidays & Spring Break.

Official Holiday Period Announced

According to a notification issued on March 19, 2025, all schools and colleges in Islamabad, both in urban and rural areas, will remain closed from March 31 to April 4, 2025. The new academic session is set to commence on April 7, 2025.

Compliance with the Holiday Notice

The notification has been forwarded to the heads of all institutions under FDE, directing them to implement the holiday schedule accordingly. This decision has been formally approved by the Director General of FDE.

Educational Institutions Affected

The holiday schedule applies to all institutions managed by FDE, including Islamabad Model Schools, Colleges, and Ex-Federal Government Colleges for both boys and girls.
