Changes to Teaching Assignments
Temporary teachers hired specifically for the evening sessions have been relieved of their duties. Meanwhile, regular teaching staff will now only be responsible for teaching during the morning shift, in accordance with the updated school schedule.
Criticism from Teachers and Concerned Parents
The decision has drawn criticism from teachers’ associations and parents. Shafiq Bhalowalia, Central Secretary of the Punjab SES Teachers Association, has demanded the cancellation of this move.
