COMSTECH Scholarships for Pakistani and Mauritanian Students

The OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation COMSTECH has launched a scholarship program aimed at students, scholars, and institutions in Mauritania. This initiative seeks to foster stronger scientific ties and enhance research capabilities in Mauritania. In collaboration with the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, Mauritania, COMSTECH has introduced these scholarships as part of the Joint Science and Technology Capacity Building Program. The program is designed to build upon the close relationship between COMSTECH and Mauritania and further strengthen scientific cooperation.

COMSTECH-Mauritania Scholarship Program

Through this program, young scientists, engineers, and early-career researchers in Mauritania will be offered the chance to spend six months at renowned research centers across OIC member countries, with a special focus on institutions in Pakistan. The goal is to help these emerging professionals enhance their research skills and establish international partnerships that can benefit their future careers.

Additionally, Mauritanian students and scholars are encouraged to participate in other COMSTECH programs, which are regularly promoted through the COMSTECH website and social media channels.

Research institutions in Mauritania are also encouraged to collaborate with COMSTECH Centers of Excellence to exchange knowledge, technology, and expertise, thereby increasing their research capacity and developing innovative solutions to pressing challenges.
