This initiative allocates a dedicated 30% quota in all single-degree programs specifically for eligible workers and their children. The application deadline for these scholarships is July 10, 2024, for the Islamabad Campus and July 18, 2024, for the Lahore Campus. Seats under the Labour Quota admission and scholarships are available across various campuses including Islamabad, Lahore, Attock, Wah, Sahiwal, and Vehari.

Eligibility Criteria for COMSATS Labour Quota Admission
To be eligible for the Labour Quota admission and scholarship, applicants must meet specific criteria:
Applicants must qualify as workers under the Industrial Relations Act of 2010.
They must possess a valid social security card.
A minimum of one year of work experience in a factory or mine registered under relevant legislation is required.
Children of deceased or disabled workers may also apply under certain conditions related to the workers status and benefits received.
Applicants must have a clean legal record with no involvement in illegal activities.
Application Process and Required Documentation
Candidates must apply for the scholarship at the time of admission to any single-degree program at COMSATS University. Alongside their admission application, applicants are required to submit the following documents:
Worker or miners CNIC National Identity Card.
Social Security Card or Old Age Benefit Card.
Factory Card or Employee Card indicating their designation.
Appointment Letter and Factory Registration Certificate.
CNIC or Family Registration Certificate issued by NADRA National Database and Registration Authority.
Service Certificate and a certificate of good moral conduct.
Affidavit on Rs. 20 Stamp Paper committing to repay educational expenses if education is discontinued.
Proof of receiving Death Grant or Disability Pension for children of deceased or disabled workers.
Award and Continuation of PWWB COMSATS Labour Quota Scholarship 2024
The scholarship covers tuition fees, hostel fees, and transportation costs for up to eight semesters or the maximum duration of the students degree program. Students must adhere to COMSATS regulations regarding fee payments in cases of course or semester repetitions.
