Committee of Education Ministry Ensures SNC Implementation

Ministry of Education is going to implement the single national curriculum all over the country and the ministry has formed the committee to supervise this process of reviewing the revised curriculum documents. The committee will suggest areas in syllabus that should be included or excluded in the course. Federal government has developed the single national curriculum with the consultation of other provinces. Due to uprising of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, the educational institutes were closed once again and the academic activities were halted for about two months and the annual exams of all classes will be delayed and now it is expected that the exams will be held during the month of May and June. The single national curriculum will be enforced in all public and private schools and colleges from the new academic year, which will be started from August. The curriculum from classes 6 to 8 will be launched from next year and the curriculum from 9 to 12 classes will be implemented from 2023.
