Cambridge Grading System Improves for O/A Level June Exams

The schools were closed due to COVID-19 pandemic outbreak all over the country and the exams were also postponed. The Cambridge Assessment International Education announced the cancellation of the exams, which were going to be held during May and June this year. Cambridge Grading System Improves for O/A Level for June Exams.
CAIE has made the announcement of the marks to the students for May and June exams, which was based on the 4 steps process and it combines the evidence, which were provided by the schools with the evidence. Now the schools are asked to provide the academic performance reports of their students and they will get the grade for the exams, which were supposed to be held in May and June. The schools registered such students, who have not adequate performance data so that they can appear in the exams being conducted in October and November 2020 at the same rate of fee.
CAIE will announce the result of the May and June exams before 13 August and the grades of exams of October and November 2020 will be declared within three months. This newly designed grading process is just like the one, which is adopted in UK and it also applied to all CAIE schools all over the world. The evidence based grades will be obtained across the world.
Private Students
Unfortunately, the option of the evidence based grades in the May and June exams will be provided to the registered schools only and it will not be made available to the private students. All private students attend the tuition centers and it is tough for the private students to obtain the evidence of the year long performance. The private candidates account for 35% for total enrollment of CAIE in Pakistan, who will attend their exams being held in October and November.
