Following the announcement of the intermediate class part 1 annual exams result for 2023 by the Karachi inter board, concerns arose due to the significantly low passing rate. Promptly addressing this issue, the Chief Minister of Sindh initiated a fact-finding committee to investigate the matter further. Heading this committee is the Vice-Chancellor of NED University.

Facts Finding Committee Recommends 15% Marks

The fact-finding committee has submitted its findings to the Chief Minister, proposing a solution to address the low passing rate issue. Consequently, the committee recommends the allocation of an additional 15% marks to students in their 2023 inter class annual exams result. This recommendation has received approval from the Chief Minister. The additional marks will be distributed across various subjects, with 15 marks for Mathematics, 12 for Physics, Statistics, and Chemistry, and 6 for Botany and Zoology.
