Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
To qualify for the BEEF scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Balochistan Residency: Only candidates from Balochistan are eligible to apply.
University Admission: Applicants must hold an unconditional offer letter from an accredited local university or an approved foreign institution as recognized by the Pakistan Bar Council for the Fall 2025 session.
Professional Qualification: Applicants must be licensed practicing lawyers with a minimum of two years of experience and must not hold any other job, either public or private.
English Language Proficiency: A minimum IELTS score of 6.5 bands is required for international applicants IELTS is not required for domestic scholarship applicants.
Educational Requirements: Applicants must submit an HEC-attested LLB degree and Detailed Marks Certificate DMC.
Guarantor Requirements: Two guarantees are needed: one from the applicant and one from a government officer with at least BS-17 rank, ensuring that the applicant will return to Balochistan after completing their studies to serve in the province for two years.
Deferment Policy: Selected candidates must commence their studies in the specified session; deferment to the next year is not allowed.
Previous Scholarship Restrictions: Candidates who have already received a BEEF scholarship or any other national scholarship provincial or federal are eligible for this program only after five years from completing their last scholarship.
How to Apply and Selection Process
The application and selection process follows these steps:
Application Submission: Interested candidates must complete and submit the application form available on the BEEF website.
Eligibility Screening: The Scrutiny Committee will review applications to ensure they meet all eligibility criteria.
Aptitude Test: Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for an aptitude test, which will be organized by HEC or another authorized agency. A minimum of 50% marks in the test is necessary for scholarship consideration.
Final Selection: The final decision will be based on test scores and the merit criteria established by BEEF.
Scholarship Slots: The number of scholarships available for LLM, Bar-at-Law, and Ph.D. programs will depend on the available funding and the number of eligible candidates. BEEF reserves the right to adjust the number of scholarships as needed.

Applications must be submitted along with all necessary documents by 12th May 2025. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
