Merit-Based Scholarships for Diverse Educational Levels
The AJK State Talent Scholarships are open to students at various educational levels, including primary, middle, secondary, intermediate, BS, MA, MSc, MPhil, and Ph.D. classes. The key criterion for consideration is merit, and all scholarships will be awarded purely on a merit basis.
Application Deadline and Eligibility Criteria
Eligible students must have appeared in the 2023 exams, and the application deadline for the scholarship is set for February 28, 2024. The eligibility criteria vary based on the educational level, requiring different percentage marks. For instance, primary and middle-level students need 90% marks, while matric board exam participants should have secured 85% marks.
Continuity Requirements and Exclusions
To maintain the scholarship, students admitted to the program must consistently score a minimum of 60% marks. However, government employees, weekend class program attendees, distance learners, and private candidates are not eligible to apply. Only regular candidates are encouraged to seek this opportunity.
Application Process: From Forms to Submission
Interested candidates can download application forms from the National Bank website. A nominal fee of PKR 100/- is to be deposited to the specified United Bank account, with the receipt attached to the application form. Attested application forms will be accepted through the head of the institute, along with a cover letter from the institute.
Required Attachments and Submission Details
Applicants must attach attested copies of the Certificate of Citizenship of the state, passport-sized photos, result cards, and CNIC or B-form. For students enrolled in professional courses, results of two semesters are required. The deadline for receiving applications via post is February 28, 2024, and completed applications, including the institute heads recommendation, should be sent to the Secretariat Higher Education at Block-10, Secretariat Complex, Chhattar 2 Mile, Muzaffarabad. Late submissions will not be entertained.
